Dear HBOYour primary sources are admitted liars
Read how HBO and Alex Gibney continue to arrogantly stonewall Church efforts to refute allegations in Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief. Outrageously, HBO and Gibney asked for eyewitnesses to alleged events but wouldn’t reveal what events were relevant. “Your primary sources have recently been deposed. They are admitted liars and you are going to see information which is irrefutable.” the Church wrote.

Re: Jay W. Brown Letter of January 12, 2015
Dear Mr. Gibney:
I am writing to you as once again you refuse to answer my letters and refer all my communications to your attorney. Yesterday, your attorney stated that you refuse to meet with the Church. That is outrageous. On December 19, you asked for eyewitnesses and I told you I will produce them to present accurate accounts. I asked you to give me the specifics on the events so I knew which eyewitnesses to present. You continue to refuse to answer me and have not once narrowed down the allegations so I would know exactly what to respond to.
I told you last week that I would bring stacks of information and all manner of relevant eyewitnesses, and that is exactly what I intend to do. Your primary sources have recently been deposed. They are admitted liars and you are going to see information which is irrefutable. There are dozens of people who have personal knowledge about your sources and their allegations, as covered in Lawrence Wright’s book and on which you reportedly are basing your documentary. Thus, I reiterate that I will be in New York to meet and will come with eyewitnesses, facts, judicial decisions and documents.
Regards,
Karin Pouw
